A few months ago my wife had a Total Knee Replacement.
At the time I was curious about the CBD pain ointment and if it might be beneficial.
Something that we’ve learned in sharing is that it’s much easier to share an idea or thought on an item if we have personal experience with it. When Zsuzsannah had a total knee replacement I had two concerns. First, that she does not experience extreme pain. Second, that she does not have any long lasting addiction to codeine prescriptions for pain.
They suggest that medication be taken prior to therapy so that she will continue and work through the therapy portion without pain. If she has pain then she will stop or slow down the therapy.
I did not want to precondition is Zsuzsannah with the idea that the cream would take away the pain rather it might help to a lesser extent compared to the codeine.
So when Zsuzsannah returned home after the rehab, I gave her a tube of the CBD cream to use. She could not put the cream directly on the point of incision but around it. She began doing that and to maximize the effect we would wrap the knee lightly or loosely with plastic wrap such as Saran Wrap. The wrap was very effective at night as it reduced the loss of cream because of the sheet coverings.
She started using the cream and I was pleasantly encouraged by her saying yes she does feel a change.
Last week the incision could be washed and she could cover the entire knee. On Tuesday morning
she told me that she slept exceptionally well all night. It was the first night that she put the cream not just around the incision but over the incision. She said that she did not have any pain during the night and felt that a major contributor to that sleep was the CBD cream.
Last Sunday, after church service, the first thing she said when we got home is “I’ve got to put some of that CBD cream on my knee”

I had a very unusual experience recently. I was double stung by a scorpion on my thigh! The sting was worse than a bee sting and as the venom spread quickly, I felt the pain immediately. Last Sunday we got sub-zero wind chill with 4 inches snow. Deb & I walk the dog 3 miles a day regardless of weather conditions. Turning a corner my leading leg slipped out in front of me on black ice, and the other leg (that has only 15% nerve control due to my spinal cord damage from 2001), slipped out backwards. The back leg, bent at the knee and ended up underneath me. I hit the ice pavement with excruciating pain in my upper right thigh. I thought I had broken my right femur and couldn’t get up. I crawled to the other side of the road to get off the black ice.
After a few minutes I was able to stand & limp back to the house with deb’s help. Since I was able to stand and walk I decided I hadn’t broken the bone, or torn any ligaments at the knee. Most likely it was pulled, strained, or torn muscle. I took a double dose of NanoX, a dose of CB2+ oil under the tongue for 30 seconds, and applied CBD pain creme to my thigh. Then I strapped an ice pack onto my thigh. Within about 30 minutes the throbbing pain had resolved, and I was able to walk with minor pain. I used additional doses of NanoX and pain creme every 4 hours, and CB2+ at night before bed.
The next day was pain free with only mild sensation when walking. I’ve continued to use the pain creme this week when the ache starts to flair. I am extremely grateful that I had my CBD supplies to deal with this situation as a visit to the ER would have been costly, time consuming, & frustrating. At 70 years old, a scary situation was handled and my continued belief in NEWYOU CBD products was reinforced!
